A collection of cummerbunds and bow ties, comprising:
- seven cummerbunds, various colours, patterns and fabrics, including one with a black and white abstract pattern in pleated silk, designed by Diana Moseley for the ‘I’m Going Slightly Mad’ video, 1991, labelled ‘Ken White’ but not worn; two of black and white pleated moiré, labelled ‘Hackett’ (one with original tag attached); one of black pleated satin, unlabelled; one of midnight blue velvet, labelled ‘Acko’; one of gold brocade labelled ‘Loco Mia’; and one other; and
- nine bow ties, various colours, patterns and fabrics, majority ready-tied, including one abstract pattern, labelled ‘Pashu’, seen on the cover of the Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé single, ‘How Can I Go On’ and the ‘Barcelona’ album; one of midnight blue silk with abstract pattern in red and green, labelled ‘Georgina von Etzdorf’ (see lot 2201 for the corresponding evening scarf) two of red satin; one of electric blue satin, labelled ‘Harrods’; one of silvery grey satin with black spots, labelled ‘Jun Men’; and three others
