Freddie Mercury’s Live Aid rehearsals-worn top, 1985

A white mesh sleeveless top with black, grey and yellow vertical stripes to left-hand side, worn for Queen’s rehearsals for ‘Live Aid’ at the Shaw Theatre, Euston Road, London, 10 July 1985, an excerpt of which can be seen in the 2011 BBC documentary ‘Queen - Days Of Our Lives’ (Part II); the complete footage is apparently a mix of the band’s rehearsals for Live Aid and their forthcoming arena concert in Montreal, Canada, and shows the band rehearsing ‘Hammer To Fall’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ (with Freddie at the piano) and ‘Radio Ga Ga’, which were all included in their 22-minute ‘Live Aid’ performance
