Freddie Mercury’s Mr Bad Guy press call worn shirt with black bomber jacket, vest and trousers

A checked cotton shirt, black, red, blue and yellow, left breast pocket fastening with white imitation mother-of-pearl buttons, labelled ‘Shirt Works’; a reversible padded bomber jacket, one side black satin, the other yellow fluorescent nylon, with black knitted collar, hem and cuffs, the left arm of the black side with zipped pocket, unlabelled; a plain white cotton vest, labelled ‘St. Michael’; and a pair of burgundy cotton jean-style trousers, labelled ‘Antony Price’ – the shirt included in this lot is identical to that worn by Freddie at the press conference for his first solo album Mr Bad Guy, 1985.
