Freddie was photographed wearing this shirt during the ‘La Nit’ Festival, Barcelona, October, 1988 which was staged to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic flag from Seoul ahead of the Summer Olympics, 1992 and where Freddie and Montserrat Caballé performed songs from their collaborative album ‘Barcelona’ at the open-air concert on 8 October – see lot 267 for Freddie’s dinner suit worn on this occasion.
