Freddie Mercury’s t-shirts, 1980s

A group of five T-shirts, various designs and makers, some travel souvenirs, comprising: a white T-shirt printed in brightly coloured cut-out lettering ‘The White’, labelled ‘ixi:z’; a white T-shirt printed in red, grey and black with the stylized figure of a naked man and the letter ‘M’, unlabelled; a white T-shirt printed in blue ‘Brasil, Rio de Janeiro’, labelled ‘A.Vargas’; a mustard yellow T-shirt printed in red and blue ‘Manhattan', label indistinct; and a white T-shirt printed on the front with a red flame design and in black ‘Ibiza Ibiza’ and on the back in red ‘KU IBIZA’ labelled ‘KU Summer’s Collection Ibiza’, the latter seen in a photograph of Freddie with friends in Ibiza all wearing these T-shirts and matching tracksuit bottoms (see Lot 59).
