An iconic piece of Queen memorabilia, one of Freddie Mercury’s personal tambourines that he used on stage during his iconic 2/23/1979 concert in Madrid.
Freddie was known for playing the tambourine at concerts and then throwing them to the audience, which is exactly what happened.
The consignor of this lot attended the show and caught the tambourine at the end of the performance.
A green label “New Era” can be seen on the edge of the Tambourine.
